World Council for Quality delivers International Reliability Recognition to Local Government of Tizayuca, Hidalgo, Mexico.
On Aug. 5th the World Council for Quality (WCQ) delivered to the Local Government of Tizayuca, Hidalgo, Mexico the Level 2 of the International Reliability Recognition for Local Government “Reliability in the achievement in a systematic manner and also confirmed by citizen customers". The delivery was made by Bob Alisic, Executive Secretary of the WCQ to Juan Núñez Perea, Mayor of Tizayuca.
This recognition issued by the World Council for Quality refers to the level of satisfaction that the local governments has meet toward their citizens, and it has three levels: Level of Reliability 1: "Reliability in the Achievement"; Level 2: “Reliability in the achievement in a systematic manner and also confirmed by citizen customers"; and Level 3: “Reliability in the maturity verified by a comprehensive Citizen Observatory”.
The municipality of Tizayuca was evaluated by the Assessment Commission of the WCQ, which ruled compliance in satisfactory degree of the 39 indicators in Annex B of the ISO 18091:2014 standard "Guidelines for the implementation of ISO 9001:2008 in Local Government", in addition to an established citizen Observatory, in which organized citizens confirm the objectives achieved by the local government, and that the municipality has a quality management system in process of consolidation.
The ceremony was also attended by Armando Espinosa, Vice Chair of the World Council for Quality, and Jose Francisco Olvera Ruiz, Governor of the State of Hidalgo, who along with Bob Alisic and Juan Nunez Perea signed a Memorandum of Intention to ensure full satisfaction of the requirements of Level 2 of the International Reliability Recognition, and to aspire to a Level 3 of the Recognition.
This event was also attended by Getulio Martínez, President of the Citizen Observatory Tizayuca, Francisco Martinez, Executive Secretary of the International Foundation for the Development of Reliable Governments, and public servants.
