Carlos is a Mechanic Electric Engineer graduated from Universidad Iberoamericana and Msc. From the Imperial College of Science and Technology, London University
Professional Career:
Between 1977 to 1996, He served in family businesses manufacturing parts and components for the oil and railroad industry and servicing oil wells on site, in 1997 he was elected as mayor of Atizapan, a city of half a million inhabitants on the outskirts of Mexico City, in 2000 he was elected to the Senate of the Republic, in 2009 he was elected to the Chamber of Deputies of the State of Mexico and in 2009 and 2021 he was and is a Federal Deputy.
Professional Activities:
During the municipal administration, Atizapan was one of the first cities in Mexico to be certified in ISO 9000.
Board member and Founder of the International Foundation for the Development of Reliable Governments FIDEGOC and member of the Board of Directors of the World Council for Quality since 2015. On behalf of the Commission on Federalism and Municipal Development of the Senate of the Republic, he attended the headquarters of the ISO and on July 11, 2005 to the delivery of the document approved by 18 countries in Boca del Río, Veracruz, Mexico of the International Workshop Agreement on Quality Management Systems in Local Government ISO IWA 4, the first guideline standard for quality in government in the history of ISO and first and only original Mexican contribution in terms of ISO international standardization, today ISO-18091.
Participating in the implementation of INAFED (National Institute for Federalism and Municipal Development), an institution where was intended to implement quality systems in public administrations in Mexico.
Carlos Madrazo Limón is Vocal of the World Quality Council.
