Osama is the owner of Total Quality Company, which has successfully provided consulting services in various sectors.
Throughout his career, Osama has played an instrumental role in the establishment of national and regional quality infrastructure organizations. His expertise has been sought by over 400 organizations from diverse sectors to enhance their strategy, structure, management, and operational performance. By adopting standards and implementing innovative approaches, he has helped these organizations achieve sustainable growth and improve their overall effectiveness.
Professional Activities:
Osama El Meligy is the founder of the Egyptian Society for Quality and has served as its Former Secretary General. He has held esteemed leadership positions in ISO technical committees, including being the Convener of ISO/TMB/ATMG «Arabic Translation Management Group,» Convener of ISO TC 176/SC3 Study Group on Time, Speed, and Agility, ISO TC 176/SC2 involved in the development of the ISO 9000 series, ISO/TC 207 Environment Management, and ISO/TMB/WGSR responsible for the development of ISO 26000 Social Responsibility.
He has conducted workshops on Good Governance for the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) and has been actively involved in developing the UNIDO e-learning course on «Good Governance in QI Institutions.» El Meligy continues to update and enhance this course.
He has made significant contributions to the field by writing the first Arabic book on Environmental Management and translating several books and publications on Quality into Arabic.
El Meligy is Vocal of the World Quality Council.
