Letter from the President

Dear colleagues:

The primary objective of this organization: "to promote and facilitate best practices in management systems, quality and sustainable development, through the use of international standards and specialized networks for the exchange of knowledge, with the purpose of providing tangible improvements for society".

We all understand the influence of the different actors in the consolidation of management systems, the professionalization and experience of the work teams, digital media as work tools and the importance of maintaining the focus on sustainability.

Recently, we have experienced a global pandemic that has changed the way we view the way work is performed. Remote systems have had to be incorporated and there has been a growth in the approach to risk identification and prevention. However, it is important to maintain a constant focus on not losing the knowledge acquired during this period and people play a key role in this regard.

To achieve our goal, it is essential to document best practices, encourage and support the implementation of knowledge management within organizations and share success stories. This effort requires the collaboration of WCFQ's partner organizations, who must establish a valuable knowledge exchange and pay attention to those who have achieved sustained success, so that they can share their experiences with the world.

I am grateful for the support of colleagues who have joined in this task and I invite more experts in these issues to join in this work.
