ISO 18091: Reliable Governments
Since its origin, the World Council for Quality (WCFQ) has had as its mission to promote
Trustworthy Governments, and to create a World Network of Trustworthy Governance that
shares Knowledge and Good Practices for Innovation in Public Policy Management, with the
objective of contributing to a better quality of life for people and to the global common good.
Therefore, it has participated and actively participates in the creation and updating of ISO
18091, through the Members of its Council.
The WCFQ through the opinion of the international group of experts, members of its Council
verifies and recognizes in four levels: bronze, silver, gold and platinum the maturity of public
management of local governments. In addition, the WCFQ offers support to local governments
on the road to continuous improvement in the provision of quality public services for the benefit
of citizens, and in the promotion of sustainable development.
The World Council For Quality (WCFQ) has become a key player in identifying, recognizing and
systematizing good practices of Local Governments in the implementation of ISO 18091, in order to grant after an analysis and external verification by the expert members of its Council
the corresponding International Recognition of Reliable Governance.
We support governments in "making politically feasible what is technically indispensable in local governments and their territories".
