The World Council for Quality is pleased to announce that the region of Colima, Mexico, was awarded International Ratability Recognition (IRR) by being recognized as an “International Example of Government Excellence”. This prestigious honor was awarded in recognition of Colima’s outstanding efforts and achievements in promoting quality and efficiency in government management. The process leading to this distinction was rigorous and involved more than three years of hard work. More than 77 experts, many of them WCFQ members from 34 countries, contributed their valuable knowledge and experience. A total of 344 final comments from WCFQ members were meticulously reviewed, demonstrating the council’s commitment to excellence and continuous improvement. WCFQ sincerely congratulated Colima on this significant achievement and hoped that its success would serve as an inspiration for future improvement initiatives around the world.
