In a ceremony held on Tuesday, June 20, the Provincial Municipality of San Ignacio received the Bronze Level International Reliability Award for its outstanding work in terms of reliability. The award was presented during a special event, which was attended by prominent personalities from the governmental sphere and representatives of the World Council for Quality. Lizzet Quiroz, representing the Secretariat of Government and Digital Transformation of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers of Peru and the Binational Development Plan for the Peru-Ecuador Border Region, presented the award in person. On the other hand, Bob Alisic, President of the World Council for Quality, and Francisco Martinez, Executive Secretary of FIDEGOC, presented the award remotely.
Deputy Mayor Pablo Olivo Ojeda Naira received the recognition on behalf of the Mayor of the Provincial Municipality of San Ignacio, Reguberto García Ordoñez. The Deputy Mayor expressed his gratitude and pride for the achievement, highlighting the effort and dedication of the entire municipal team in the implementation of the Trusted Digital Territories. The Trusted Digital Territories project has been promoted by the Secretariat of Government and Digital Transformation of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, together with the Binational Development Plan of the Peru-Ecuador Border Region. In addition, it has had the valuable support of the International Foundation for the Development of Trustworthy Governments, who collaborated in the implementation of the bronze level, following the standards established in the International Standard ISO 18091:2019.
The Provincial Municipality of San Ignacio reaffirms its commitment to continue working for the benefit of its citizens, fostering sustainable development and promoting innovation in all its actions.
