On May 6, WCQ members met at the Engineering Tower of the National Autonomous University of Mexico to celebrate the Assembly and Board of Directors Meeting of the World Council for Quality.
At this year’s meeting, it was agreed to accept new members; the following have joined the WCQ: Alka Jarvis, Erick Stephens, Sandra Feliciano, Fernando Monar, Asha Mam, Baskar Kotte, Julius Muraguri, Lillemor Harnell, Pietro Marcaccio, Rodrigo Vera, Carlos Madrazo and Leopoldo Rodriguez. During this same session, Bob Alisisc assumed the position of Executive Secretary.
It was also agreed to activate the Global Network for Quality in Education, under the leadership of Sandra Feliciano, professor, researcher, consultant and auditor, who is also leading the development of ISO/NP 21001 “Requirements for the application of ISO 9001:2008 educational organizations”. Rodrigo Vera, President of the International Network of Quality and Excellence Experts, will also collaborate in this network.
