In the framework of the “Quality in Government and Citizen Participation Forum”, the World Council for Quality (WCQ) awarded the International Reliability Recognition in the second level “Reliability in achievement systematically and confirmed by citizen clients” to the municipalities of Aguascalientes and Monterrey.
This Recognition issued by the World Council for Quality refers to the degree of satisfaction of the needs that local governments meet with citizens, and has 3 levels: Reliability Level 1: “Reliability in Achievement”; level 2: “Reliability in achievement systematically and confirmed by citizen clients”; and level 3: “Reliability in maturity verified by an Integral Citizen Observatory”.
These municipalities were evaluated by the WCQ Evaluation Commission, which ruled that both have 39 indicators of Annex B of the ISO 18091:2014 standard in “green” qualification, that they have an Integrated Quality Management System with ISO 18091:2014 approach, in addition to having a constituted Citizen Observatory, in which organized citizens confirm the objectives achieved. The award was received by Ms. Nube Rodríguez, Director of Organizational Development and Budget Efficiency of the Secretariat of Administration of the Municipality of Aguascalientes; and by Mr. Juan José Palos, Senior Management Representative of the Integrated Quality Management System of the Municipality of Monterrey.
The recognition was presented by Jack West, President of WCQ and Bob Alisic, Executive Secretary.
