Exchange of Successful Experiences: Representatives of Mexican Municipalities ShareLessons Learned at the XXIII World Quality Forum

May 29, 2019

During the XXIII World Forum on Quality, Improvement and Sustainability 2019, held in Puerto Vallarta and organized by INLAC, representatives from four Mexican municipalities – Boca del Río, Veracruz; Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua; San Pedro Cholula, Puebla; and Tlaxcala, Tlaxcala – had the valuable opportunity to exchange experiences and lessons learned during the implementation of ISO 18091.

This significant event was not only a platform to receive recognition for excellence in government management, but also to strengthen ties and share knowledge between the representatives of these municipalities and the members of the World Council for Quality, who are also representatives of ISO/TC176 CSAG, a leading group in ISO TC 176.

The exchange of experiences allowed participants to explore the different perspectives and approaches applied in the implementation of ISO 18091, an international standard that establishes requirements for quality management systems in public administration. The representatives of the municipalities shared successful practices, challenges overcome and valuable lessons that will contribute to the continuous development and improvement of quality standards in government management.
