Within the framework of the Smart City World Congress in Barcelona, ISO 18091:2014 was presented, the first and only international standard for governments that has been published by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) since its origin, 67 years ago, and whose mission is to integrate and measure the effectiveness in the management of results- oriented public policies, as well as their legitimacy, because citizens participate both in the definition of government priorities and in observing the fulfillment of commitments through Citizen Observatories. Speakers included ISO 18091 Convenor, Dr. Carlos Gadsden; AENOR Spain Advanced Quality Manager, Ramón Palacios; Asia Microsoft Public Sector Director, Rodrigo Becerra; and OstosSola partner, Gloria Ostos, who is currently the Executive Secretary of the WCQ.
